Today our class went on a field trip to see Penguins of Madagascar!



It was a very funny movie. We all enjoyed it!

While the staff brought in items for the dinner, the kids were able to participate in baking. 

It was quite a feast for all!

Preparing for a Feast

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, why not practice preparing a meal?
Lunch sack turkey legs, cotton ball mashed potatoes and tiny paper balls of corn and peas. And don't forget the paper pat of butter!

Save a Turkey, eat...Pizza?

While working on our turkey craft, the kids also finished the statement:
"Save a turkey, eat ____________."
The number one answer? Pizza!
Other answers: Chinese food, chicken and candy. :)

We also finished the Thanksgiving theme by making corn stalks. 

Ms. Elada did a great job creating them!
