Humble Flight at Boswell

Mark Shoemaker brought his hot air balloon (they are known as Humble Flight) to school today to continue the lesson with the 4th graders "if air has matter".

We took the kids out to join in the fun, and some of the staff joined the balloon crew!

Apple Orchard Fun!

Today we took a field trip with the other schools to Sunshine Valley Farm. We learned about the different types of apples, how to properly pick apples from the tree (twist up!) and saw the room where the apples are stored to make applesauce, pies and other yummy treats.

Afterwards, we had lunch at Sequiota Park. The kids played on the playground, checked out the cave and watched the ducks and geese.

Practicing "Home Row"

Since we've been going great with our daily Goals, today we decided to have a little fun working on using home row on the Chromebooks.
